The Uninvited

The Uninvited by Steven LaChance with Laura Long-Herig

The first time I had heard of The Uninvited was when I was online looking for recently released books written by those that had experienced paranormal activity. I saw an image of a book cover with eyes that seemed to stare right back at me through my monitor screen. It wasn’t long before I was at my local Barnes & Noble picking up a copy.

Steven LaChance documents the change in his personal life that leads him and his children from a tiny apartment to a spacious house in Union, Missouri. From there, LaChance’s “The True Story of the Union Screaming House” takes off with incident after incident, leaving the reader desperately turning pages to find out what happens next.

The LaChance family fled their newly rented home a couple weeks after moving in, not realizing that Steven would be drawn back to The Union Screaming House to help the new tenants.

Steven leaves no stone unturned as he tries everything in his power to understand and fight what is haunting the house and why it continues to prey on those that reside in it.

Steven walks a fine line of defiance against the demonic forces as he comes to the aid of wife and mother, Helen, who has been targeted by unknown entities, breaking her will and sanity week after week.
